Our team currently consists of 5 marketing mavens (a mix of product marketing executives and content writers) and you’ll be leading this team and working directly with the Head of Product and the CEO (mind you, you’ll have to bear his jokes though :-p).
Responsibilities & KPIs:
Product branding and marketing strategy
This is basically it. Your role summed up in one sentence. If you know what this means and can ace it – well, skip reading the rest
Product branding is about looking beyond “features” to actually understand the business use case of our customers. It’s also about coming up with a plan to showcase our product at every step of the discovery journey; shining a light of desirability that attracts a wider audience.
You know which channels (hint: inbound channels) work best and can come up with creative campaigns on each of them
You also orchestrate a comprehensive pricing, bundling, upselling, cross-selling strategy
Contribution to product development
You know the market. You know what customers need. You mix that knowledge with an understanding of what competitors are doing and add a dash of your creativity to suggest product enhancements
Short-term and long-term planning and cost control
You plan for quarterly sales and also work on long term business goals, right down to the KPI level
You work with your team to ensure the development of structured, high impact marketing content/collateral and leverage the same across owned and paid channels
You plan, control and monitor marketing spends on a monthly basis
Key Performance Indicators: Product revenue, conversions, search rankings, domain authority
Job Requirement
Non-negotiable attributes required:

Extremely hands-on, driven with a strong bias for action
Should be comfortable working in a fast paced and rapidly evolving environment
Ideal Profile:
5-8 years of post education work experience in product/growth marketing/digital marketing functions of tech companies
Should have team management experience of at least 2 years of a team size of minimum 3 people
