Department Overview

Finance & Accounting team is responsible for maintaining books of account, compliance and reporting as per the India regulations and US regulations that includes financial reporting, taxation, vendor payments and employee reimbursements
About the Role

Team member will be responsible for Income tax compliances, which includes routine and periodical compliances. Team member should have knowledge on IND AS, ICDS, transfer pricing, TDS, FEMA, SEZ regulations and other Statutory Compliances in relation to applications, submissions, review, computations, return filings, reply to notices, audits and other tax requirements. Team member should possess good interpersonal skills, stakeholder management and communication.
Responsibilities

• Adherence to monthly, periodical and annual compliances under income tax, which includes TDS payments, TDS returns, income tax filings, etc.
• Have a sound understanding of the transfer pricing regulations, APA, DTAA, related party transactions and its implications. etc.
• Analyse latest changes in income tax, SEZ, customs regulations and GST regulation and update management on implications of the company operations.Track all the communications/notices from tax authorities and ensure responded on time with appropriate replies.
• Track and meet the compliances under Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, FEMA, RBI and other regulations wherever applicable.
• Provide relevant exemption information to stakeholders in reporting and ensure all tax exemptions are claimed by company.
• Account all the month end-closing entries as per the requirement, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure books are closed as per agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with Statutory auditors, internal auditors and compliance team and ensure audit done on time.
• Provide tax support to supply chain management on applicable GST rates, TDS tax rates and other tax compliances expected from vendors and review of purchase orders, agreements/SOW and advise the stakeholders on tax implications, TDS rates, GST etc.
• Understand on the changes in IND AS accounting standards in relation to taxation, US GAAP, provide an analysis to the management, and implement the same wherever required.

Market Skills and Certifications
Essential Qualifications

• A Chartered Accountants with 3 to 6 year experience (post qualification), willing to travel and flexible for relocation.
• Preferably from Big four or should have worked on corporate accounting & taxation in big corporates.
• Provide tax support to supply chain management on applicable GST rates, TDS tax rates and other tax compliances expected from vendors and review of purchase orders, agreements/SOW and advise the stakeholders on tax implications, TDS rates, GST etc.
• Understand on the changes in IND AS accounting standards in relation to taxation, US GAAP, provide an analysis to the management, and implement the same wherever required

Desired Qualifications

• Should possess good verbal & written communication skills
• Certification on SEZ, taxation, GST, IFRS or IND AS certification, would be added advantage
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel Power point preparation
• Interpersonal skills
