In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk
• Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with initiatives that cross multiple lines of business in scope with significant impact and risk
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development to drive the company credit culture, desire, and business performance
• Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Credit Risk team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
• Interpret and develop policies and procedures for level of risk taken in credit activities with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
• Build relationships with corporate, business heads, Legal, Audit, regulators and industry partners on risk related topics
• Lead team to achieve objectives
• Interact with internal and external customers
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Credit Oversight
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications, International:

• 15+ years of Credit Risk experience, including reporting, data analysis, regulatory requirements awareness, deep portfolio experiences in one or more credit areas
• 5+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in computer science, MIS, statistics, finance, economics, engineering, or similar quantitative disciplines
• Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
• A strong track record and business knowledge in the financial services sector with a deep understanding of credit risks
• Strong interpersonal influence and communications skills; outstanding in creating insightful executive presentations
• Experience leading teas with diverse responsibilities in credit areas

Job Expectations:

• Manage credit risk teams with varied focus areas(Consumer Credit, Wholesale Credit, Workout, Fraud, Reporting) and represent India in partner meetings.
• Collaborate with various credit, deposit, product groups, to develop effective ways to manage deliverables, leveraging best practices, and new data/tools.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses to assure timely monitoring of strategy efficacy and accuracy, minimizing credit/operating losses and reputation/compliance risk exposure.
• Influence key stakeholders through impactful written and oral communication.

• Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
• Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Wells Fargo’s Credit Risk Group independently oversees the management of credit risk exposures (including monitoring and reporting on aggregate credit exposures across groups, legal entities, geographies, and other jurisdictions) and the quality of credit risk management practices across the company. In addition, Credit Risk develops, maintains, and ensures adherence to company-wide credit risk frameworks, policies, and procedures that are aligned with the Board-approved ‘risk appetite.’
