Webapprise System is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive proven knowledge of Tax, TDS, Gratuity, PF, and GST acts to join our finance team, The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing and recording transaction the company’s financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions. Accounts Receivable: Generate and send invoices to customers.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues. General Ledger: Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Provide support for audits and regulatory compliance. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management. Financial Reporting Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial data. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Implement best practices for financial controls and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Prepare and finalize tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes. Stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations that may impact the company. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using accounting software like Tally or Zoho Books for GST compliance and return filing.
This includes knowledge of how to record transactions, generate GST invoices, reconcile data, and generate reports for GST filing purposes. TDS Management: Calculate and deduct TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) as per applicable rates. Prepare and finalize TDS returns accurately and within the specified deadlines.
Respond to any inquiries or notices from tax authorities related to TDS matters. Employee Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits such as Gratuity and Provident Fund (PF). Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to Gratuity and PF contributions.
Maintain accurate records of employee benefit transactions and reconciliations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Candidates who have completed their Intermediate CA or are CA finalists are eligible for this position.
Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
