What is primary need, technical challenge, and/or problem you will be responsible for?
We are looking for good talent with experience in finance, business partnering, process automation, business insights/metrics, Dashboarding. The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment is critical. Your primary responsibilities will also include providing value add analysis and financial guidance to the business.
Success in the Role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
Assist in measuring and clearly explaining financial/business results. Activities include maintaining financial models and working with peers in FP&A to understand variances.
Assist in the automation of current financial reports and setting up new processes/reporting
Focus to drive innovative analyses and automated reporting/Dashboards.
Build ad hoc analysis
Prepare quarterly accurate scorecard
Work closely with Business Partners in driving growth for the business
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
This role will require extensive business partnership with multiple functions including the CXS Business Team, CXS Operations, Sales Finance, BU Finance, Business Operations, and Corporate Finance & Accounting.
What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?
You will be joining the Global CXS Finance Team working closely with Finance Controllers of different Line of Businesses. This role will also work closely with the Success 360 business leaders and Finance members spread around the globe.
The team culture is one based on building trust, Taking ownership and on-going development through coaching.
Where is this role located?
This role is based out of VMware’s Bangalore, India office and open to candidates in the surrounding area. Work will be done from an office some days during a week and otherwise from a non-VMware building anywhere within a two-hour commute of the VMware office in Bangalore, India
