Overview of Team/role: This role is with a team that helps Research Houses and Institutional Investors meet MIFID requirements and Soft Dollar payments for the Research houses from Fund managers. The job involves handling highly confidential information regarding corporate events and details of Interactions between companiesResearch AnalystsFund managers.

About you:
0-2 years of experience in finance or operations (Freshers with good academic records may be considered).

Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting.

Knowledge of Financial statements.

Good Communication Skills (verbal and written).

Good Excel knowledge required.

Typing skills and excel shortcuts will be added advantages.

Knowledge of other languages will be added advantages (East Asian countries) but is not a MUST HAVE requirement.

Willing to take up the challenge to teach AI systems with a hunger for learning new things on a daily basis.

Ability to work independently on highly complex data with minimal mistakes and relatively limited oversight/review after a training period.

Highly systematic and able to think up solutions to on-the job problems.

Has the urge to question inefficiencies in the processlacunae in the Tools to make the job easier over a longer-term.

Specific Job Responsibilities & requirements:
Track events for companies with corporate earnings, broker or company arranged conferences as two examples.

Using converters and language translator software to transform input files to the relevant system understandable format.

Uploading Interactions files in various formats into our internal system and checking data quality based on requirements set with clients.

Working on a daily task assigned to him/her to ensure quality as well as on-time delivery.

Collaborate actively within the team to improve the efficiency of the overall data collection process and support team members on query and issue resolution.

Work closely with the other operations team on over-lapping work.

Provide relevant MIS on daily, weekly, monthly basis.

It is desirable to develop and demonstrate a strong understanding of the financial statements of public-listed companies to get a complete understanding of the Investment world and process.
