Engineering Graduate with min 8 years relevant experience. Over all 8 to 10 yrs of exp.
Manage your product portfolio: market evolutions and competitors (competitive benchmark)
- Collaborate with marketing operational (ROM) in order to get proper Business Plan and markets insights (data, trends)
Ensure regular update of your know how in your product technologies (function, process, OE innovations).
- Analyze and know the benchmark of competitor’s products and service offers (SWOT’s, technical Benchmark).
- Manage the whole product portfolio ensuring a proper competitive coverage.
- Validate technical range gaps, sales potential and you define priorities in the development program with R&D.
- Validate new references technical information (dimensional report, test report…), in link with internal or external suppliers and test laboratories.
- Update park coverage rate at competitive level, per Car maker and per market.
Ensure fast time to market availability TTM for latest OE products.
- Deliver Product plan (PSP).
- Are the Product “in house“reference for BG/PG and suppliers.
- Ensure with legal department, compliance of new valeo parts with IAM access debranding rules.
- Define the proper level of quality associated with price Tier objectives (Good better best) and validate it with quality.
- Determine the proper packaging standard in order to achieve objective of sales and costs.
- Determine and propose the branding associated with the new range to be validated by Marketing strategic.
- Validate with Product Group the Yearly Product Plan within the PSP.
- Are the interface of the purchasing department in preparation of negotiation with suppliers.
