1. Business/ Financials
o To provide an independent oversight to CRMC/ CRO on appraisal process and post sanction adherence to disbursement conditions with an aim to have management of the Bank’s credit portfolio.
o Comprehensive review/ of credit facilities primarily within the MSME and FIG portfolio of the Bank but to also cover Housing and VF. Scope to progressively expanded to include MB as well.
o In depth file review of existing loans granted by the Bank on periodic basis for MSME and FIG portfolio of the Bank and also Housing and VF.
o In depth file review of all cases falling under quick mortality cases,
o In depth file review on sample basis for all types of retail loans.
o Identify any lapses from credit policy and RBI guidelines for the loans sanctioned.
o Credit Risk Audit feedback to be addressed appropriately and on time.
o Coordinate with business, credit, compliance and audit to formulate and enhance the credit risk monitoring framework.
o Oversee design, development, implementation and validation of risk rating systems and processes for Microbanking (GL, IL, AGL and Gold loans), Personal loans, Vehicle Loans and FIG in conjunction with the business units
2. Customer (Both Internal & External)
o Undertake site visits if required.
o Coordinate with Business and Credit on an ongoing basis to communicate / identify any lapses in credit appraisals of the Bank.
o Coordinate with IT and operations to implement new frameworks agreed by business and credit.
o Drive communication of all credit risk related policies, guidelines, latest developments across the Bank to facilitate compliance to it.
3. Internal Process
o Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Credit Risk reports. Interpret the information and suggest actions for consideration by Senior Management.
o Participate in scheduled meetings of Credit Risk Management committee
o Ensure the Committee recommendations are documented and implemented effectively.
