The main objective of this role is to provide advanced analytical capabilities and support data science initiatives for global sales & marketing team. This position gains experience in various areas including, but not limited to: predictive modeling; forecasting; natural language processing and text mining; optimization and mathematical programming, inventory and capacity planning, network flows, and supply chain optimization.
Therefore, the person in this role must be an expert in their field and confident in interacting with the stakeholders and proposing solutions.
Determine data requirements to create a model and understand a business problem
Data cleaning, aggregation, analysis, interpretation and quality analysis
Preparing data for predictive/predictive analysis
Develop machine learning models or standard statistical/economic models
Translate model results into business insights. Create a presentation to show these ideas.
BE / B.Tech, Masters in Statistics, Economics
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
7-12 years of work experience in developing and deploying analytical solutions
