What you’ll do
The Accounting Manager is to supervise day-to-day accounting activities, establishing financial status by developing, implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information and working closely with our financial management team.
ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- Month, Quarter, and end-yearbook closing
- Review and monitor accounts payable/receivable
- Invoice generation on customers
- Intercompany invoices
- Overview bank receipts/payments.
- Review of entries in general ledger.
- Reviewing and authorizing manual Journals posted by accountants in Workday
- Ensure all costs are accounted in correct cost centers and Spend Categories.
- Review of monthly payroll
- cash forecasting
- Analysis of variance between budgeted and actual revenue and expenditure.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide recommendations
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing and working with people in a team environment.
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, and databases
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- Strong technical/interpretational and communication skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experienced Chartered Accountant
- Proven 3 – 7+ years working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
- Working experience in Workday/SAP would be an added advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher, Permanent
Salary: ₹600,000.00 – ₹1,200,000.00 per year
Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
Salary: ₹50,000.00 – ₹300,000.00 per month
