Be the Expert: join dedicated client teams providing valuable ideas, penetrating insights, sector focused analysis. Build, value and update the company’s financial models using both absolute (Discounting Cash Flow) and relative models. Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions. Formulate the research framework to analyze industries and companies, in consultation with client and project manager.
Impact the Bottom Line: Carry out industry/company research and prepare reports outlining the investment recommendation. Write in detail Initiating coverage report, reflecting in-depth understanding of the company. Write Quarterly reports covering quarterly results (preview & review), company updates on a monthly basis covering major developments during the month. Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and/or entire industries. Generate investment ideas in the form of research reports, which may require to be presented to the clients.
Know the Business: Monitor fundamental economic, industrial, and corporate developments through analysis of information obtained from financial publications and services, investment banking firms, government agencies, trade publications, company sources, and personal interviews.
Be the Point of Contact: Work independently with client analysts to define concepts/ deliverables, under the direction of project managers.
Enable the Team: Guide and train juniors to bring them up to speed with quality output.
Consistently Deliver: Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Be Known: Coverage universe is across geographies (primarily US & Europe but could be global), sectors and various cap-sizes (large, mid & small cap). Both on-site and off-site exposure with direct client and corporate interaction is available for team member.

Qualifications:
Our most successful candidates will have:
- MBA-Finance from tier-I/ II institutes/ CA , CFA (US) preferred
- 0-4 years’ experience for Professional position
- Experience in investment analysis (either buy or sell-side)
- Strong modeling and analytical skills
- Strong communication, presentation and language skills and ability to provide and defend an opinion with company’s management teams, global fund managers and the in-house Sales team
- Strong report writing skills
- Quality focused with attention to detail and client service
- In-depth knowledge of one or more sectors would be preferred
- Technologically competent (Word, Excel, Internet, Bloomberg, Reuters)
- Be attentive to details
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to adjust quickly and smoothly to changing priorities and conditions
- Be pro-active in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; work as a team-player
- A strong network of contacts within the industry/ sector in which they specialize would be a definite plus
