KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Create and execute a cohesive content strategy that would influence decision makers across stages and organizations
Develop breakthrough campaigns across channels to drive product awareness
Build a brand strategy to further the sports evangelization agenda which establishes Star Sports as the go to platform for advertising
Play a pivotal role in the ABM strategy along with leadership team by providing strategic inputs for personalized selling and working closely with other functions to co-create content
Spearhead demand generation initiatives for the Ad sales team to create pull for sports leagues among advertisers and partners
Lead marketing strategy for whitepapers, case studies and thought leadership content to establish the platform as a must have in the broadcast media mix
Leading diverse and multi-functional project teams to manage end to end delivery of marketing plans in a fast-paced environment
Working closely with Internal & External Partners: Advertising agencies, media planning and buying partners, research agencies, activation agencies, social and digital agencies, production houses with strong stakeholder influencing including social media influencer management
People Management KRAs
Driving and motivating the team to achieve KRAs by undertaking reviews
Developing talent and career management by identifying learning opportunities, recognizing and rewarding high performance and coaching and mentoring
Building a culture of cross-functional collaboration and driving team to productively work across functions (PRS, Operations, Analytics etc.) and resolving escalations / conflict management where required.
Managing performance of direct reports by continuous performance feedback, timely course-corrections and working with HR to launch performance plans as and when required. Ensuring similar practices are followed by all people managers within team.

QUALIFICATION
10 + years of experience in customer strategy/customer analytics/marketing with 4-5 years in core B2B/product including media planning on linear and digital platforms
MBA: Marketing from a reputed Tier I / Tier II college preferred
10-13 years’ experience in marketing and communications at reputed organizations
Sectors:
Ideally from Media & Entertainment background in a current or past role
Advertising & Media agencies – worked on media brands/campaigns
Other D2C businesses like FMCG/Consumer goods/Telecom/Automobile
Activation Agencies
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Strong Marketing and Editorial bent of mind
Should have seen and understood the other elements of marketing, like branding, consumer insight, consumer engagement etc.
Should have an understanding of working with trade media and of managing vendors and agencies
Experience in creating and executing GTM strategy for enterprise customers that have led to high engagement and pipeline building
Performance marketing experience to effectively track marketing funnel
Demand generation & operational strategy across online and offline paid channels
Should have executed ABM programs at scale with proven results
Excellent communication, presentation skills and proficient in English (written and verbal)
The role requires the individual to be a strategic thinker and also high execution orientation, quick thinking and implementation. The incumbent should be comfortable with a lot of action and has the ability to handle multiple issues/activities
Comfortable with numbers and analysis and making sense of them for marketing decisions
Strong analytical skills with a clear point of view on where/how to measure impact and drive efficient results
Business wherewithal
Exposure to categories targeting female consumers would be an advantage
