The Role Responsibilities
The Scrum Master will be responsible for leading a cross-functional squad to successfully deliver on the business&rsquos strategic initiatives. They will also coach squad members on agile methodology, where required, to ensure the team performs at the highest possible level. This person will work in close partnership with Business, Operations, Technology, COO, and other internal functions to deliver the front-to-back changes required for FM&rsquos key projects.

• Manage delivery of strategic change initiatives within Financial Markets, with stakeholders across businesses, functions and geographies e.g. Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Client Onboarding, etc
• Distil key problem statements from business users into &lsquouser stories&rsquo, ensuring customer requirements are met, and plan out the roadmap of deliveries 1-2 quarters ahead.
• Facilitate design workshops with users and other stakeholders, driving innovative solutions to address user stories.
• Run relevant agile ceremonies, manage the backlog and planning of work for the squad, support the Product Owner in prioritisation, and facilitate issue resolution when required.
• Partner with internal teams to identify the impacted products, systems and processes and ensure that all relevant stakeholders are engaged.
• Ensure that risks are adequately managed, and the business remains compliant with internal policy and external regulations.
• Manage internal communications to different stakeholder groups to ensure they are kept up to date with relevant developments and project milestones.
• Regularly drive customer feedback sessions to build further backlog items and take ownership for resolving any gaps/issues.
• Coach squad members and other stakeholders who may be less familiar with agile methodology.
• Ensure ongoing adherence to the Bank&rsquos Change Governance policy and standards.

• In depth understanding of FM products, FMO functions, processes and regional market environments.

People and Talent

• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues
• Assist with capacity planning for colleagues assigned to projects/programmes

Risk Management

• Assess, track and monitor all risks and issues related to project/programme delivery
• Review new processes and procedures resulting from Change delivery against the Operational Risk Framework

Governance

• Support business case development that can be fed into global investment portfolio governance or FMO change governance / steerco
