POSITION / DESIGNATION
The Business Development Manager has the responsibility of driving sales in tandem with the Phone Manager and achieving sales target together from the assigned district centres/ geographies. Below are broad expectations from this role:
Drive sales and achieve targets in tandem with the Bionic PM through generation of leads from assigned district centres/ geographies.
Ensure selling of company products inline to customer expectations.
Achieve business targets.
The CSC is the key customer of the Business Development Manager and has to engage the VLEs DM-DC, SPM/Divisional Head and build an open and trusting relationship.
Engage the employees of the CSC in regular discussions to transfer knowledge about insurance, Company’s product offerings and understand their issues/ concerns about selling insurance (if any)
Schedule field visit to mapped CSC centres and meet VLEs for product and brand awareness creation, pitching on product customer benefits, business potential, and provide sales training
Servicing of branding and marketing needs to VLEs in CSC centres, enhancing relationship through rewarding and recognition of achiever VLEs
Identify potential VLE leads for HNI and business campaigns through field visits and align the Phone sales manager and ABH for business development
Organizing training programs with the help of DM-DC/SPMs/Divisional Heads in their areas of respective mapped geographies for VLEs, Self Help Groups, Societies
Provide Individual training support to VLEs
Conduct Joint customer calls with VLEs
Ensure that all service requirements are met, medicals facilitated, and customers are satisfied.
Submission & closure of CFR in system.
Business Development Manager needs to engage and build a good rapport with the VLEs / District Managers / District Coordinators / Phone Sales Manager/ ABH
Promote products and services, build brand awareness through active participation in direct and virtual meetings for VLEs
Undertake field level customer verification along with VLEs as and when required
Meet quantitative and qualitative targets on monthly basis.
Preparing weekly beat plan and daily updation in Vymo
Spearhead all lead generation initiative from the bank CSC centres – whether through walk in, data mining, referrals and others.

v WORK EXPERIENCE
2-4 years In Insurance / Banking / Finance / FMCG / NBFC / Pharma Sales and Freshers.
Below 35 years
Diploma 2+3 / Graduates / MBA
