Key Responsibilities:
1. GST Filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3, GSTR-3B, GSTCMP-08, GSTR-9 Annual Return, GSTR-9C and GSTR-4).
2. GST Invoicing, GST compliance, GST Audits, GST input tax, GST refunds, GST disputes
3. Purchase & Sales Entries, Knowledge of TDS Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
4. Handling day-to-day bookkeeping, Monthly Bill payments, Maintaining voucher reconciliation, and accounts payable/receivable functions.
5. Monitoring and reconciling bank statements, preparing and posting journal entries.
6. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and conducting financial analysis.
7. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, such as TDS and PF.
8. Conducting internal audits and identifying potential risk areas.
9. Interpreting financial data and providing insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in financial accounting, with a focus on Indian tax laws and regulations.
3. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
4. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime/Busy.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. High attention to detail and accuracy.
