The role in a nutshell:
As a Finance Team Leader you need to work on GST, Tax, ROC, should have good knowledge about GST laws, ROC compliances, and Statutory audits. Responsible for end-to-end annual Statutory and tax audits.
How you will make a difference:
1. Indirect taxation:
Reviewing the data prepared by team for Monthly GSTR-1 Return. Reviewing data prepared by team for Monthly GSTR-3B Return. Reviewing the data for Annual GST Audit and GSTR-9 Annual Return. Coordination with Auditors for their queries. Coordination with consultants for filing GST Refund with the Authorities, checking the prepared data and following up till the Refund is received. Coordination with consultants for application of RCMC and SEIS and subsequent follow ups till the scrips are sold.
2. Accounting
Responsible for Monthly closing of the Books including preparation of various journals. Supporting the team in Monthly closing. Closing the Books of sister concern.
3. Direct Taxation
Reviewing data for TDS and doing Monthly Payments. Reviewing Quarterly Form 26-Q. Coordinating with consultants for filing of Income Tax and FLA Return of the Company. Thorough Review of financial statements and tax audit Report to correct any discrepancies. Responsible for preparation of schedules and documents for Statutory and Tax Audit and coordinating with Auditors for solving queries and completion of Audit.
4. ROC
Coordination with consultants for preparation of Board Minutes for both the Entities. Making sure the Annual Disclosures in Form MBP-1 and DIR-8 is prepared and documented. Reviewing all the Annual compliances of Statutory Audit like filing of Form AOC-4 and MGT-7. Reviewing all other secretarial Compliance requirements like assisting consultants in filing of DIR-3 KYC for the directors. Assisting and meeting all other Statutory Compliances applicable on the Company.
5. Miscellaneous
Preparing and Mapping of Invoices with remittances received for applying BRC’s with the Bank. Maintenance of reconciliation of funds received from clients. Making Payment of Various Statutory dues like PF, TDS, PT. Responsible for providing management with MIS Reports like Monthly P/L Variance Analysis and Reconciliations of Balance Sheet Items. Responsible for Preparation of Financial Statements in compliance with the Indian Accounting Standards and Indian Companies Laws.
