Rackspace Hiring for Marketing Co-ordinator – India “Remote” at Gurgaon, Haryana Full Time

This Individual is responsible for supporting and implementation of marketing plans, including but not limited to Public Relations, internal communications, events, email marketing and digital media.

In addition, the individual is responsible for the planning, management and execution of events, tradeshows and webinars. Once obtaining a clear brief and budget sign off, you will assist the regional Marketing Managers with the whole event process, from sending the invitations, event logistics, branding, buying merchandise where necessary and post event analysis and reporting to ensure positive ROIs are achieved.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing – APJ and working on a day-to-day basis with the Field Marketing Managers and APJ Program Manager, the successful candidate will need to be a self-starter and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Assist in the implementation and delivery of marketing programs and production of marketing materials.

Work closely with agencies and the International marketing teams to ensure relevant product / solution messages are incorporated in local marketing programs.

Lead and support email marketing initiatives via the marketing automation platform.

Assist the maintenance of data hygiene within marketing automation systems.

Manage events from planning to on the day management (tradeshows, webinars, client events and ensure attendance at events remains high.

Proactively come up with new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process..

Report on event/webinar attendance, performance and leads obtained.

Maintaining the Marketing Calendar and shared drive up to date.

Gather, compile and sort data to facilitate effective marketing reporting and analysis.

General administrative support for marketing team – running reports as required.

Required skills/background

Minimum of 1 year of working experience, preferably in a B2B / technology environment.

Experience in event management and expertise in organizing webinars, seminars and trade shows.

Solid understanding of email marketing practices and lead email marketing initiatives.

Excellent customer facing skills and networking ability.

Moderate to high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Photoshop, Marketing Automation and Salesforce.

Self-starter, motivated to provide the highest possible level of responsiveness and performance as part of a small team.

Outstanding communication, time management and relationship-building skills..

The ability to work effectively with people in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and drive results.

Work well under pressure with an organized and methodical approach.

Have a great professional presence and business acumen.

Attention to the quality of own work and attention to detail.

Be creative and have strong problem solving skills.
