The Role
QS is looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Marketing Executive to join our diverse marketing team that can help grow our footprint and brand affinity amongst students by driving relevant traffic to our digital assets and events in Southeast Asia and India.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brand, marketing, and content strategy. She/he should have the ability to prioritise, multi-task under tight deadlines and be a flexible team player with excellent communication skills as he/she will need to work in collaboration with a variety of teams across the company in different countries around the world.
This role will have the responsibility of managing all Digital and Events marketing campaigns in Asia and India and will work closely with the Head of South Asia.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Planning and delivering cross-channel marketing campaigns in line with the digital and event objectives in Southeast Asia and India (Email marketing, campus marketing, influencer marketing, digital marketing etc)
Crafting ads copy, email, social media content and all other event marketing campaigns
Managing PPC creatives and campaign budget
Updating event landing pages and implementing SEO strategy
Collaborating with the design team to create compelling marketing creatives
Managing relationships with existing media partners and forge relationships with businesses that could potentially collaborate with us on events and research projects
Finding new opportunities for online engagement in Southeast Asia and India
Establishing association with higher education institutes in India for events
Good presentation skills, ability to deliver seminars and speak at conferences
Providing regular internal performance reports, including marketing analytics and intelligence to inform our strategy and implementation
Ideal skills for this role
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or related qualification in Marketing
Minimum of 2 years marketing experience
Experience writing creative, blogs or other copy with native English level
Knowledge or experience of event marketing
A good understanding of youth and adult consumer culture in Asia or higher education industry
Experience working with HubSpot and tech savvy
Good knowledge of PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media marketing
High level of attention to details
Confident and a self-starter with the ability to work as a team-player across multiple functions and departments
Creative, passionate, positive, outside the box thinker who likes to take initiative
Desirable but not essential
Fluency in an Asian language (Thai or Vietnamese preferred)
Adobe Creative Skills – InDesign, Photoshop or video editing
