Job Description & Summary

A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Our Internal Tax team provides internal services related to financial services, treasury and taxation. As part of our team, you’ll help the team provide a full range of taxation services to PwC related to complex financial reporting, cost management, tax planning, investment management and transaction processing.

Job description:

Position: Analyst

Job location: Gurgaon

Requirements:

Qualification: B.Com (H) / M.Com / MBA / Semi Qualified CA

Experience : 1- 3 Years

Person having hands on experience on the following:

• Must have basic knowledge of accounting;
• Must be good in MS Office (specially excel);
• Must have working knowledge of GST and service tax;
• Must have good communication and drafting skills;
• Minimum 1 year experience in GST practice
• Clear understanding of GST returns, its deadline etc
• Capable of doing various reconciliations in excel;
• Willing to work in extreme difficult situation;
• Willing to handle extreme work pressure
• Should be able to provide support to the team for various tax fillings;
• Knowledge of oracle cloud package would be an added advantage;
• Ability of doing research on tax topics and experience of facing tax authorities would be preferred
