Hiring for KSA VAT Compliance Officer in Ahmedabad

Salary – 70K – Depends on Exp

Qualifications – CA Freshers/Inter CA having Taxation Experience in Indirect Tax

Experience – Min 2 to 5 Year Exp required as VAT Compliance for KSA VAT Saudi Arabia or VAT Compliance GCC

Skills & Job Responsibilities

• Making sure that periodical VAT compliances by each entity is on time and correct
• Maintain and update compliance calendar, status update and ensure adherence of the compliance across the region
• Preparation, Review and filing of for VAT returns and ensuring adherence of the SOP and Checklist
• Review the methodology of extracting data from the system and highlight area of improvement to increase effectiveness and reduce manual intervention.
• Review of reconciliations of sales and purchase transaction reported in the VAT return to general ledger
• Review adherence of the compliance for each of the purchase and sales invoice and Credit note and Debit note and same are properly reported in VAT return.
• Maintain FAF and ensure data in VAT return reconcile with FAF
• Reconcile Import and Export as per books with FTA reports.
• Review the tax code mapping with transactions add any new transaction type and its tax treatment in transaction mapping list.
• Annual calculation and reconcile with the GL as per books of accounts
• Highlighting process gap resulting nonadherence of compliance and suggest appropriate measures to correct treatments to the finance team
• Explaining the requirements to IT team to ensure that proper VAT position is configured in the IT system
• Preparation of responses or information/ clarification to be provided to tax authority.
• Assisting in VAT Registration of a new entity or amendment to the Registration
• Following up with the relevant tax authorities on any issue such as modification, clarification, refunds, etc.
• Provide report and supporting information and records to reply to day-to-day VAT queries
• Must be having good hand on exposure on Microsoft Excel
• Experience of GST will be an added advantage and preferable
• Preference of having exposure of working in Oracle
• Knowledge of GCC VAT Law
