Lead Finance Executive
Purpose
To manage the day to day Intercompany accounts, preparation of Debit Notes, intercompany confirmations, update BS schedules, Settlements, Group reporting (Intercompany HFM upload).
Key Accountabilities
- Completion of Intercompany billings, account codes for AP and AR invoices
- Maintain invoices received and issued, copies of signed confirmations and other schedules related to IC reporting accounts.
- Compliance of group monthly reporting and other Finance required reports.
- Update and monitor invoices due for payment. Ensure the Call Account statements with the Group is correct and updated, the REVAL transactions are downloaded and recorded in ERP. Interest income recording is accurate and complete.
- Ensure the Inter group agreement are in place for the intercompany charges except for the common charges.
- Assist Lead Finance for the audit requirements.
- Assist project team with ad hoc requests
Key Internal & External Interfaces
- Proper coordination to ensure all transactions for the month are accounted.
- Monitor and coordinate for the unaccounted invoices for accruals.
- Liaise with other intercompany accountants for the difference of intercompany balances.
- Liaise with the group for the intercompany settlement if to be done through Call account and do bank transfer for those entities without IC Call accounts.
- Monitor if proper set up of IC customer/supplier in the system are done correctly
Dimensions (Financial, Supervisory, Other eg. Complexity & Key Exposures)
- Cost conscious, checking all charges from other entities if valid and approved by management
- To handle complex and huge transactions with many entities
- Flexible and willing to extend time if required
- Work in less supervision and innovative.
- Get the result on time with accuracy and completeness.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience expected
- Experienced in working with a multinational-companies.
- Knowledge in accounting systems such as Oracle
- Experienced in handling accounting activities for intercompany, AP, AR, general ledger.
- Able to work in a complex and multi-tasking responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications required
- Graduate Degree in commerce / Semi qualified Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of work experience in accounting functions
