Position Objective:
Sermo is in search of highly driven and experienced Email Marketing Associate to join our Growth and Community team. This is an exciting opportunity to help build out our growing email initiatives that drive member acquisition, engagement and retention. You’re a motivated individual who thrives on creating a climate of inclusion, trust, and productivity. Ultimately, you’re responsible for continuing the success of our daily email practices — and ushering in a new era of growth, increased personalization and operational readiness at Sermo. Responsibilities:
Create and deploy email marketing campaigns to promote user engagement and member registrations
Create list segmentation and target lists within ESP for personalized email campaigns
Ensure marketing message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to prospects.
Ensure messages are sent in proper form and template.
Use ESP to pull email performance reports and audience lists for ongoing requests
Build out segmentation for personalization within email campaigns
Build out nurture and journey programs for key segments
Include brand graphics, incentives, and detailed descriptions.
Ensure messages are mobile-friendly and rendering appropriately across email clients
Track and analyze email marketing reporting to inform the team
Create detailed reporting for ongoing email campaigns to share with the team
Coordinate and monitor the maintenance, integrity, and security of several databases.
Monitor email deliverability through ESP reporting to ensure optimal DLVR across email clients
Manage and track lead expirations
Create documentation for workflows and procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree.
3+ years of experience in email marketing (Marketo experience preferred)
Good knowledge of email marketing campaigns, campaigns management systems, Drip campaigns, Nurturing programs and Marketing automation
Experience using Excel and other spreadsheet tools (Smart Sheet)
Experience with Marketo preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present performance, insights and recommendations to growth team leadership
Excellent organization and time planning skills with solid attention to detail
Ability to establish specific priorities and consistently meet deadlines
Excellent time management
Ability to work in a remote team and across all departments
Experience with digital campaign creation with a full understanding of HTML coding
Ability to overlap with the majority of US hours with the team
