General Purpose The Sourcing Specialist in Indirect Sourcing Services is responsible for the procurement of products or services and supports Sourcing Managers in
management of indirect procurement categories for the regions.
Main Responsibility Area The person is responsible for procurement expertise in defined areas. Works with other organizations to ensure that the product or service meets pre determined quality, technology, supply and cost criteria. Responsible for contracting and negotiating the prices with local/regional suppliers which aren’t covered by Sourcing Managers. Develops and manages supplier relationships in own area. Creates and maintains instructions and documents processes in own responsibility area.
