We are hiring for multiple joining dates in Q3 of 2022.
Selection process:
The process comprises an online competency test, followed by a candidate information
session and two rounds of interviews.
We will email eligible candidates the link for an online test with instructions.
We will invite candidates who clear the test for a candidate information session to address
frequently asked questions and confirm their interest in the profile.
Interested candidates will undergo four virtual interview rounds.

The Team: PitchBook Data specializes in researching global M&A, private equity (PE), and venture capital (VC) investments, and market participants such as limited partners, investors, service providers, and the professionals involved. It provides the investment community with a proprietary data platform, research tools, and custom analysis to enable better investment outcomes. The Private Market Data Operations team performs web-based research and uses technology tools to capture hard-to-find data that enables its institutional clients such as VC and PE firms, investment banks, and law and accounting firms to develop insights into the flow of capital across the industry, conduct research on potential investment and acquisition opportunities, connect with professionals and advisors and gain an edge in investment evaluation and negotiations.
The Role: The MDP Associate accurately and efficiently collects and enters data on companies, deals, people, funds, investors, and service providers across the entire private investment life cycle. The entry-level role reads and processes volumes of data and picks out relevant information from news, regulatory filings, and websites to collect key data points on financing rounds, company management, financials, service providers, etc. and enter those into a web-based tool.
Responsibilities:
Review news, web and regulatory filings to create an accurate view of an event and quickly
extract
and enter relevant information in a web-based tool
Quickly scan multiple documents for additional information and be able to compare against
other
sources and an internal database
Complete data collection tasks within a specific dataset and process area such as PE, VC,
M&A,
People, Service Provider, Investor, Limited Partner, Funds, and News
Learn methodology and processes quickly and be able to apply that knowledge consistently
Understand and learn financial concepts and figures
Interpret daily and weekly performance metrics and seek to improve personal performance
Identify areas for improvement across all areas, including processes and tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Liberal Arts,
Management or Science.
Candidates about to finish their post-graduate degree or awaiting results are eligible
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply (prior work experience is not mandatory)
Keen interest in finance and capital markets
Meticulous attention to detail
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong grammar and English language skills and the ability to identify such errors
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Willing and flexible to work in the UK shift and occasionally on Indian holidays
