McKinsey & Company Hiring for Social Media Analyst at Gurgaon, Haryana Full Time
Who You’ll Work With
You’ll be based in our Gurugram office as a part of our McKinsey Global Publishing group. You will work with experienced editors and producers that help McKinsey colleagues create and publish their insights in the form of articles, reports, blogs, videos, podcasts, infographics, immersive/interactive experiences, special collections, email newsletters and other formats.
You will report to the global manager social media within McKinsey’s Social Media team and work closely with other units across McKinsey.
What You’ll Do
You will develop metrics that will drive organic and paid social media strategies that improve performance and meet business goals.
In this role, you will support the social media team and help senior stakeholders understand the effectiveness of social media activities. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s social media measurement framework and strategies on a global basis and integrating metrics from other interactive communications activities including paid media, email and web analytics.
You will also measure McKinsey’s social media activity using social media measurement tools, assist with social media monitoring programs across teams and practices, and work with stakeholders including those in firm communications and Technology & Digital to ensure analytics are embedded in development roadmaps and deployed consistently.
With social media analytics, you will build dashboards and generate reports that capture social media key performance indicators, share of voice, competitive benchmarking and other social monitoring reporting. With web analytics, you will run ad-hoc reports to incorporate paid media, site performance data and help with analysis and summary of findings. Lastly, you will also assist with other ad-hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree or equivalent in public relations, marketing or correctable area is highly desired
4+ years of experience working in marketing analytics, digital/interactive advertising or social media
Highly experienced with a number of social media measurement tools for monitoring and reporting
Passionate about providing a customer-driven approach
Comfort juggling multiple tasks and working on deadline
Comfort working in a low structure, non-hierarchical environment
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communications skills
