You will be based in our Gurugram office and you will work as a part of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Benchmarking Hub within the Panorama Financial Institutions Center (PFIC).
PFIC is one of the largest knowledge and analytics teams globally and part of the FIG practice, with 270+ members and a global footprint across 25+ countries, focusing on financial services domains, e.g., Retail banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Fintech and Insurance. The CIB team within PFIC also has a global footprint, with 38 members based across Gurgaon, Waltham, Frankfurt and Lisbon.
What You’ll Do
You will be working on benchmarking and conducting surveys within the CIB domain. This will include working with clients to gather and validate data, clean the data and create benchmarks, creating client ready reports, customized analyses and other tasks as needs arise.
You will be working with highly confidential proprietary data, and you will be responsible for analyzing this data and producing actionable insights in the form of client ready end products which could be power point presentations and/or financial models.
Over time, you will be expected to develop expertise in a specific areas, be accountable for specific clients, and drive the development of new modules as well as contribute to broader development of the proprietary asset. Additionally, you would need to contribute as an active member of the global PFIC community and develop relationships around the globe to build on your knowledge and provide support to the broader network as needed.
Post graduate qualification in finance or economics/MBA
1+ years of work experience in a Corporate and Investment bank (CIB) or in CIB operations
Understanding of CIB concepts and knowledge of financial products and/ or banking operations
Superior problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven client service skills, teamwork and a sense of urgency to fulfill time sensitive and highly confidential tasks; Willing to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment
Ability to develop and nurture relationship with senior leaders in a multidisciplinary team
