McGraw Hill India has an opening for a Content Developer who works closely with several key stakeholders to implement the vision, strategy, development, and growth of a diverse range of competitive, reputable, and financially viable portfolios of print and digital products across the region.

You will work on local, regional, and global projects to meet market needs. You will ensure currency with ongoing content curation and acquisition to meet the objectives of the regional MVP roadmaps. You will execute on product vision strategy for market share growth. You have an understanding of the learning capabilities of our platforms and products.

This position must be in Noida (HO).

What you will be doing

Strategic and Competitive Product Development:

• Maintain knowledge of competitor print and digital products for consideration during product development.
• Design and lead training for customers and internal stakeholders to build their product knowledge. Ensure effective collaboration by ensuring all stakeholders are informed of product development benchmarks.
• Be strategic in selecting the top customer targets to be involved in crucial stages of product development so that the market is effectively seeded.
• Conduct and analyze customer insight findings to determine product development strategies and direction.

Project Management

• Meet all scheduled milestones (including transmittal and launch dates) and maintain clear and effective communication with the production team to ensure on-time delivery of products
• Effective acquisition, onboarding, and coaching of authors/SMEs aligned to business vision and strategy, including training and support for content development in our platforms
• Apply innovative strategies in the management of multiple authors, SMEs, and complex projects to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Ensure timely communication around risk and work collaboratively to mitigate risk to protect launch dates.

Market Focus and Sales Support

• Effectively keep marketing up to date with project progress and keep them abreast of any concerns or problems
• Collaborate with and proactively support the sales team to sell products through on-campus calling; sales enablement tools development; internal promotion and demos
• Active championing of products to engender interest and attention amongst internal and external customers.

Digital & Innovative Practices

• Transition print products to digital versions and releases to extend product brand lifecycle and optimize the user experience.
• Help guide MHE’s digital transformation through continual process improvement across core development processes by communicating lessons learned and providing timely improvement feedback and ideas

Personal Growth & Development

• Build and manage a personal development plan with a manager and discuss progress on a timely basis
• Take ownership of completing training identified in the development plan by the close of 2018
• Be active in championing core technologies and new business platforms to support both internal stakeholders and author teams

The ideal candidate will have

• Minimum educational qualification – bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3-5 years of experience in publishing, education, technology, or other relevant industry with a focus on content development and/or instructional design.
