M2 CONSULTANT SERVICE PROVIDER Hiring for Accountant head at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Full Time

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices to the client with compliance to government/tax requirements

• Performing month-end reporting to management (MIS) on status of accounting activities and deliverables

• Accurately identifying problems, exceptions and ensuring that all stakeholders are kept updated on time

• Verifies and records payments and transactions related to accounts receivable and accounts payables including monthly reconciliations

• Good understanding of GST/TDS/other taxes with regards to project execution

• Good understanding of Letter of Credit and Bank Guarantees

• Good understanding of Sales Budget and its comparison during the execution stage to identify and highlight variance in budgeted costs and actual costs

• Coordination with Sales/BD team on imparting knowledge and risk management on specific Contractual conditions during Tender/Offer stage

• Monitoring project by project Cash flow/Receivables/Profitability

• Research discrepancies with focus on collection of old outstanding amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other departments

• Good understanding of AS-7 accounting standard

• Focal points to Regions with regard to accounts related to Customer and Vendor

• Ensuring all databases and reports are up to date with latest review developments, risks, findings, issues and results

Knowledge:

– Basic Contractual knowledge

– Proficient in MS Office and ERP

– Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles and standards

– Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections

Skills:

– Excellent client management skills

– Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills

– Good liaising skills with people at different levels Internal and external

– Analytical skills – ability to independently analyse complex or unusual problems and deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions

– Strong commercial mindset, takes initiative, positive and proactive, focused and target driven

– Good understanding of key financial services and industry related legislation. Familiar with International contractual requirements
