Leading a team of Accounts Payable executives, driving assurance and control processes, improvements & automation.
Responsibilities
1. Account Payable Function:
- Ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing using cost effective methods and be responsible for overall activities related to:
- Vendor invoices processing and payments
- GRIR reconciliation
- Vendor open items management and ageing analysis
- Vendor query mailbox
- Handling concerns from vendors and business team members promptly
- Metrics and Dashboards
- Prepare, report and improve AP metrics.

2. Compliance
- Ensure all AP processes are compliant with relevant statutory, regulatory requirements, including documentation, filings, processes, followups with internal and external stakeholders and audits.
3. Business Responsibilities
- Staying in tune and aware of business operations and how AP processes are to evolve along with organizational changes.
- Drive development and expansion of systems and processes required to execute on-time payments to Vendors
- Owning the creation, modification, adherence to AP and drive consistency at all business locations
4. People Management and Communication
- Leading, training & developing the accounts payable team, including driving priorities, resourcing and efficiency.
Skill
- Strong accounting and digital tools, ERP skills
- Past experience in effectively managing groups of associates.
- Strong Customer focus (both Internal / External).
- Control and Risk assessment ability
- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills.
Qualification
- CA / ICWA with 6+ or more years of post-qualification experience in Accounts Payable
- Past experience of leading or managing AP process automation.
- Experience with treasury banking, travel & expense (T&E) and credit card matters
