Position Overview:
Marketing Manager is one of the most important members of the marketing team at L.E.K. Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will join the Mumbai office and will focus on education, healthcare, and core strategy/general private equity (which will include exposure to different verticals like consumers, technology, packaging, industrials etc.).
The individual in this role will gain exposure to the business development approach of a fast-paced and international firm that has a very diverse client base ranging from Singapore to Sao Paulo.
Major Responsibilities:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategizing marketing efforts, implementing marketing plans, identifying various tools to drive campaigns, and supporting client development initiatives for each of our practices across Southeast Asia.

Overall responsibilities:
Develop a strategic tool kit to engage target audience through thought-leadership publications, PR, email campaigns, events, conferences, partnerships, social media, recruitment marketing, and alumni outreach.
Guide Marketing Associate(s) and Assistant Manager(s) to ensure timely execution of marketing plans for various industries/sectors.
Conduct timely analysis and reporting of campaign analytics through strong data-driven reports to illustrate achievement of KPIs and provide results and trends.
Managing expectations of various stakeholders including senior leadership team, other marketing teams across L.E.K., internal cross-functional teams i.e., finance, graphics/design, legal, etc., and third-party contractors.
Analyze revenue and prepare half-yearly and annual review presentations to review marketing activities and corresponding output
Ideate and present new initiatives that the team can execute to optimize marketing activities and achieve goals.
Plan and promote L.E.K.’s thought leadership:
Work with the leadership to identify suitable thought leadership themes.
Develop media and event campaign plans around thought leadership.
Liaise with marketing team members to ensure timely social media coverage.
Work with clients or firms L.E.K. partners with to maximize reach of the content through L.E.K. and the partner’s marketing channels.
Spearhead SEO-related activities.
Plan events and conferences:
Plan and deliver virtual/in-person events for clients and/or to target key clients.
Design roundtable or seminar sessions in partnership with other organizations e.g., thinktanks, clients, government agencies etc.
Identify target conferences and negotiate conference sponsorships or speaking spots with organizers
Lead end-to-end marketing for the event(s).
Prepare conference and other presentation materials for partners (basis current trends and existing industry research).
Manage marketing budget and achieve business goals:
Create and track marketing budget for all Southeast Asia practices and present it to the leadership regularly.
Support business development activities:
Review content, credentials, team CVs, inbound leads, email campaigns, and any collateral used for external outreach.
Lead Sales Navigator initiatives
Collaboration with teams across L.E.K. offices:
Work with L.E.K.’s global digital marketing team, events expert team and, as appropriate, with colleagues in other regions to achieve specific as well as overall marketing goals.
Candidate Requirements:
At least 4 years of prior professional experience in a marketing/ external affairs/ communications/ strategic partnerships role, preferably in the professional services sector with outreach in multiple markets.
Good understanding of consulting industry as well as the competitive market landscape is preferred.
Strong leadership, negotiation and influencing skills, including exceptional oral and written communication.
A business-orientated focus and attention to detail.
Tact, professionalism, and a high degree of integrity.
Strong capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint, with an aptitude for learning.
Strong quantitative capabilities and facility with data-driven analytics.
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is preferred.
Ability to be calm, focused, and organized in a fast-paced, intense, and often ambiguous environment.
