Job Title:

PWM Margin lending Analyst

Education:

Graduation / Post Graduation – Experience with 1 year are recommended – Commerce (Bcom, BBA, Mcom, MBA)

No Freshers required.

Exp Years: 1-3 years

Budget: 30% Hike for Experience.

NP: Immediate

Duties:

The PWM Margin Lending team’s primary responsibility is to ensure clients’ accounts remain within exposure limits, and to the extent clients’ have exceeded their available borrowing capacity, ensuring that actions are taken to bring the client’s account back within their limit. One key function is validating and ensuring all margin calls are issued on a timely basis, working closely with Business Partners to ensure all calls are met in a timely manner. There are also regulatory reporting obligations that are performed by the team daily, across businesses. Separately, the team works on a variety of different projects that focus on enhancements to manual processes, system uplift to increase scale, and inquiry processing on the back of client requests.

· Calculation and issuance of margin calls for PWM clientele.

· Validating and ensuring all margin calls are issued on a timely basis.

· Responding to all incoming queries and interacting with many different areas of the bank, in particular with Risk, Credit and Technology.

· Proactively working on enhancing the team’s process and controls.

· Resolution and escalation of all client disputes and queries.

· Project and initiative management and participation within the team and across all regions

BUSINESS UNIT OVERVIEW

Private Wealth Management (PWM) Operations supports Private Wealth Management, which is responsible for advising wealthy individuals on strategies to build and protect their financial assets through highly customized advice and service. PWM Operations is instrumental in meeting our clients’ needs and is responsible for the development, service delivery and control of global private banking; proprietary and open architecture alternative investment vehicles; derivatives trading; bookkeeping, accounting, performance measurement and reporting of Goldman-custodied assets and away-custodied assets; multiple externally managed account platforms; and multiple custody services.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

· Demonstrate the ability to constantly apply sound business judgment in order to manage margin requirements for our clients

· Perform validations and calculations to ensure all margin calls are issued on a timely basis

· Develop a profound understanding of Financial Instruments and market knowledge involving country specific requirements and translate this knowledge to day-to-day responsibilities

· Engage in opportunities to review processes, analyze information, make decisions and recommendations and implement and monitor procedures

· Becoming commercially aware and understand the nature of the business you are involved in while at the same time ensuring all Goldman Sachs Settlement standards are constantly being met

· Displaying a strong ability to influence the PWM Business by serving as a liaison between risk, credit teams.

· Develop strong working relationships with Technology to help address technology-related issues and prioritize various projects/initiatives, Support system development through specification, user testing and integration

Skills

· Bachelor’s degree required

· 1 – 3 years of work experience in Operations/ Finance or related field

· Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word

· Exceptional understanding of products, risks, controls and escalations process across Operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹350,000.00 – ₹450,000.00 per year

Schedule:
