Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

Direct Tax

• Verification of computation of income and Deferred Tax for quarterly LR.

• Guiding for preparation of schedules for tax audit and review of the same before sending it to the Auditor

• Discussion and clarifications to the Tax Auditor for finalizing Tax Audit report

• Ensure to get the tax audit report filed within due date

• Review of the documents collated before submission to the Transfer Pricing Auditor

• Discussion with Transfer Pricing Auditor on selection of transfer pricing method

• Ensure to get the Transfer Pricing report filed within due date

• Assist the transfer pricing auditor in finalizing Transfer Pricing Study report

• Ensuring Income TDS/TCS reconciliation is undertaken for claiming correct tax credit.

• Verification of computation of income, verification of income tax returns

• Guiding in filing reply / rectification of intimations issued by CPC

• Review of details prepared for tax assessments and assist in preparing replies on technical queries to the representatives

• Review of details prepared for transfer pricing assessments and assist in preparing replies on technical queries to the representatives

• Coordinate with the tax representatives / transfer pricing representatives to make them understand on certain positions taken while filing the income tax returns

• Guiding in drafting appeal against the assessment order and review the final appeal

• Guiding on applicability of TDS mainly on foreign remittance & on applicability of different SFT to the related companies

• Discussion with HO Tax team on issues and steps forward ensure compliance with changing laws in discussion with HO Tax Team

• Preparing PPR for Statutory Audits to report contingent liability based on data maintained by location tax person

• Preparing status of legal cases for Board Meeting

GST

• Guiding for GST Registrations and replies to SCNs in this connection

• Review of Monthly / quarterly GST Return.

• Guiding for preparation of and review of GSTR-9&9C Annual Returns

• Replying to the queries raised by auditors (Internal, Statutory, GST Authority)

• Assisting in preparing replies to the assessment proceedings appellate authorities

• Guiding for Surrender of GST registration along with the closure of all the related activates.

• Guiding for Refund application including for Inverted Duty structure

• Review of notifications / circulars / amendments issued by CBIC / GST Council and ensure implementation of the same impacting the business.

• Guiding for reversal of ITC under Rule 42/43

• Understanding the implications under M&A for internal restructuring and guiding for its effects with the help of Consultant

• Preparing case for opinion and meeting & explaining consultants / counsels and obtaining opinion
