Manage issues, escalations and exceptions within the Closing and Reporting team, liaising with other SSC operational teams, business and management as required
Responsible for performing complex processes like preliminary TB analysis, checking closure of Sub-ledger and performing SL to GL reconciliations to identify and correct material errors
Act as an SME in for closing and reporting activities for the BUs / entities
Represent the team in SSCs RTR governance meetings and performance reviews
Monitor and report KPIs and SLAs of the team in an accurate and timely manner, and manage resources effectively
As part of the process quality stream, drive continuous improvement through re-engineering, lean/six sigma, best practices framework, benchmarking, analytics to assure progressive service levels and lower costs
As part of the knowledge management stream, ensure that all new knowledge / improvements are documented and added to SOPs and / or the knowledge management database
Assist with both internal and external audits to ensure complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests
Ensure effective people management and development of the team, including: staffing & selection, integration of new staff to the teams, providing feedback and managing people issues, build a strong team culture
Perform effective employee development, performance management through monitoring of team and individual KPIs, determination of teams development requirements
Desired Candidate Profile
1) Knowledge in SAP (Mandatory)
2) CA qualified
3) Minimum 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting function (RTR).
