Review SAS and Unix code and modifications for ongoing marketing campaigns to verify accuracy and efficacy of changes
Recommend ongoing process improvements to the audience targeting execution team, especially as they pertain to improved efficiency and reduced opportunity for error
Manage and ensure proper use of the code management tool used for marketing campaign support
Assist with development, testing, code review, and ongoing maintenance of automated campaign code
Adhere to process adherence requirements and checkpoints for campaign execution
Promote a culture of collaboration across work sites
Daily interactions with Marketers & project stakeholders on multiple projects – required to communicate and clarify requirements, results, and timelines
The candidate will need to validate, audit and test the output produced by the Campaign execution team to ensure that the programs meets the original request.
Independently manage functional initiatives requests and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in developing/reviewing Base SAS codes for manipulating large amounts of data and creating reports, as well as traditional SAS data step programming.
Experience in SQL database querying (Oracle/Teradata)
Unix KSH script experience
Strong technical documentation skills
Experience using software version control tools preferred (Crucible, Tortoise/SVN, Git/Bitbucket, etc.)
Strong analytical skills demonstrated by previous work experiences.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices, laws, and regulations
Experience in operations, direct marketing, and data analysis in a banking or financial institution environment is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft office is required and advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is desired.
