Asset Management India Client & Product teams cover functions that span across the entire lifecycle of a client. Team Description:
The Channel Marketing team serves as the brand ambassador and voice of the firm for their specific location. They are responsible for all local marketing communications and activities and work closely to leverage materials and content produced regionally and globally where appropriate. The team delivers the firm’s intellectual capital covering markets, thought leadership, investment strategies and product solutions across a variety of offline and online communications channels. Besides producing content and managing the production process, the team drive client engagement and business impact through ongoing improvement in content quality and delivery enabled by digital and data.
Success in this role will demand solid understanding of the industry, products, and client needs, exceptional writing and content marketing skills, and a strong desire to continuously evolve and enhance to create greater positive business impact.
Role:
The role works closely the Head of Marketing for Asia regions, local sales, sales support and operations team, in addition to subject matter experts (SMEs), and various regional teams within Marketing to develop content for digital and social platforms, contributing to business and marketing objectives. Content development includes but not limited to markets, thought leadership, investment strategies, and product solutions. Target audience ranges from institutions to intermediaries/financial advisors to end investor, and any specific segments across markets within APAC. The role strives to leverage the knowledge of SMEs and his/her individual marketing and editorial skills to make each piece of content on-brand, relevant, differentiated, thought-provoking, and actionable. The role takes the initiative to provide solutions to ensure Compliance requirements are met and firm priorities are aligned with.
Responsibilities:
Develop content for the Asia market in consideration of market/industry trends, challenges and opportunities to strengthen our brand, promote our Insights and capabilities to acquire new clients, grow and retain existing customers and enhance client experience and improve engagement
Develop and execution of Asia marketing communications, activities and campaigns ensuring that relevant compliance reviews are undertaken and processes are followed. This will include supporting the team in executing our Product & Content Strategy.
Review and update where necessary the Asia intermediary and institutional websites to ensure content is up to date, latest product factsheets and commentaries are uploaded and thought leadership across regional and global teams is leveraged.
Assist with managing the production of content for our paid media schedule working closely with our vendor and also initiate and post content aligned to our social media schedule. Optimise content impact across offline and online channels including digital and social
Assist with the preparation of regular reporting updates or dashboards
Stay informed of peers’ activities and competitor positioning and market trends
Stay ahead of the curve, striving for the best-in-class product content in the industry. Pilot new ideas to create positive impact for innovative marketing.
Contribute to strategic marketing priorities to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness through leverage, process streamlining, optimization and/or innovations
Be part of the advocacy in a collaborative culture and establish a high-performing team to aim high for the biggest impact and results
Comply with all internal and external requirements to ensure the business is in line with changing regulations and evolving guidelines
Qualifications:
Post Graduate in economics, journalism or equivalent preferred with demonstrated experience and success as a writer in the industry
Experience in investment/financial writing, with solid understanding of financial, economic and investment concepts, asset management industry, products and customer behavior
Superior writing and editorial skills in English; experience in other languages a plus
Digital and social savvy; solid experience in data-driven approach to content engagement
Ability to be flexible on working hours – in particular the ability to start early (6am to 2pm)
Demonstrates ability to turn complex financial subject matters into compelling stories that effectively promotes the firm’s capabilities, engages the target audience, and drives the desired actions. Demonstrated ability to synthesize various viewpoints and translate those views into thoughtful marketing and educational pieces
Passionate about creating client engaging content and keen on evaluating content impact for continuous improvement
Displays a reporter-like tenacity to work with senior-level subject matter experts to generate high-quality content under tight deadlines, within hours or next day (for example, when developing content on market response)
