Description of Business Area:
The CIB Accounting technology Group is a dedicated team of application developers Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and Developers that are focused on delivering large scale change initiatives that span across various asset classes to address Business, Finance, Industry and Regulatory requirements across the CIB organization. The group provides a unique mix of technical skills, project skills, product experience, BA skills enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to the way we analyze opportunities for efficiency, tech modernization and scalable solutions to onboard new businesses as well as manage and execute change across the Corporate & Investment Bank Accounting framework.
The team interfaces with senior members of CIB in areas such as Financial Controllers, Product Controllers, Operations and Technology focusing on strategic Projects that will change and transform the Accounting for CIB business.
Business Analyst to join the PTT Accounting team.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Serve as a liaison between Technology, Product leads, Finance and Operations Stakeholders.
• A keen eye for detail with ability to influence stake holders with a view to drive consensus.
• Participate in Strategic Operating Model workstream within the larger program of work
• Data Analysis, Requirements gathering and clear articulation to wider team of developers, testers, Finance and Operations Users.
• Gaining agreement on the implementation approach that balances the principles of ACM application, the future state technology architecture, and the future state operating model.
• Create Epics, stories and keeping the documentation up-to-date
• Drive creation of detailed functional specifications with AS-IS process flows and target state processes.
• Provide functional support throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements/functional specs/ to reviewing SIT and UAT test cases, and supporting & executing testing phases.
• Partner with the development teams to facilitate the build effort (e.g. ensuring build teams understanding of the specifications).
• Manage changes to requirements per process
• Develop use cases, and partner with the business to ensure sign-off on all requirements, testing and implementation
• Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demonstrations, and the development of appropriate documentation.

• University graduate in IT/Finance with8-10 years or equivalent work experience in business analysis within Investment Banking Domain.
• Understanding Software Development Life Cycle and specifically BA process & test methodologies
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Strong time-management skills
• Able to communicate effectively on both technical and business level
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test case identification
• Experience of Agile development methodologies
• Provides Regular Scorecard, Status Reporting and MIS
• MS Excel, Access and Strong Presentation skills.
• Basic understanding of SQL queries, Sybase Oracle preferable
