IQVIA Hiring for Accountant 1 Job at Bangalore Full Time
Role Purpose:
- Manage day to day transactions, accounting relating to Direct & Indirect taxation for the company
- Implementing/Managing Tax compliance procedure for all India related entities
- Support statutory accounting process (monthly close, internal audit, year-end statuary audit)
- Liaise with accounting & other team to resolve issues and manage tax information gathering
Principal Accountabilities:
- Periodic compliances relating to Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, Softex, STPI etc.
- Reconcile expense ledger with tax payable, TDS returns preparation and filings to taxing authorities
- Reconciliation of tax returns/accounts.
- Reconciling GST Inputs with GSTR-2A/purchase register
- Prepare materials needed for tax provisions at year end and tax audit
- Preparing the working papers for assessment before the Income Tax/ other authorities.
- To provide robust MIS related to taxation matters on monthly basis to senior management
- Work on tax identity collection, withholding, reporting and other transactional tax obligations
- Partner with co-workers to increase productivity by eliminating duplications and coordinating information requirements. Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce manual efforts
- Effectively resolve and escalate issues, demonstrate a consistent timely track record of delivery
Minimum Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required:
- CA Inter/ICWA Inter/ Bachelor’s degree with 2 – 3 years’ experience.
- Graduation/ Post Graduation in commerce from any recognized university with relevant experience of 3-5 years may also be looked upon for this position.
- Relevant experience in administration/ tax accounting will be desirable.
- Prior working in SAP/People Soft/Oracle will be an added advantage.
Organization Reporting & Scope:
- This role reports to the Manager Tax.
Additional Requirements:
- Must possess strong communication skills (English) and good interpersonal, influencing skills while dealing with the applicable governing, legal and compliance organizations.
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
- Ability to multi-task and project manage multiple workstreams and deliver under pressure.
- Must demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity.
