Purpose of the role :-The role includes leading a team of analyst/senior analyst and specialists for Invoice processing/ Scanning/ Supplier management/Payments management/Specialty activities (resolving of exceptions) to ensure service delivery as per customer requirements.Key Accountabilities :-• Give consistent customer service delivery, build customer confidence in the level of service provided. Meet the ongoing needs and expectations of our customers.
• Identify proces related issues and concerns and escalate to Manager- AP in a timely manner.
• Review every day Metric reports to see the performance of the team members, Identify the gaps and take corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Manage the team resource as appropriate to ensure all key tasks are covered during absence and holiday & there is adequate backup plan• Working closely with management on suggesting process improvements, building efficiencies and identifying control gaps.
• Actively involved in review and submission of all Audit and SOX related data in a timely and accurate manner and ensuring compliance to SOX and audit recommendations.
• Driving the SOP formulation, sign off, periodic review and monitoring for compliance
• Makes sure all escalation of incidents that could become high priority, business risk or exceed SLA are flagged off well in time.
• Works on audit requirements from time to time and provide accurate and timely information to the auditors.
• Works on driving Process improvements in the process and Efficiency in the ways of working. • Participate in all project related activities and act as SME for process.
• Support transition of activities as and where applicable
• To recruit, train, motivate and develop the team members.
• Engaging in performance reviews and planned feedback sessions to monitor and improve on performance of the team members
• Work on attrition management
• Ensure proper documentation is in place for performance gaps & cases & necessary actions taken in a timely manner.
• Do regular Check Ins with the team members to update them on their performance and provide proper feedback for their overall learning
• Do Trainings for the new hires and bring them up to speed
• Do regular Process Knowledge Tests and Assessments to check the knowledge of the team members.
• Have a Backup plan ready all the time.
• Ensuring a clean open liability and a highlighting to management potential financial risks on Balance Sheet items
• Process formulation (SOP’s and SLA’s) / periodic update to existing process, sign off and building up a strong and robust review mechanism to ensure that the process is updated in light of changes/ developments and any gap areas identified/ opportunities are reported and plan is in place to improve on all such opportunities, building up plans/recommending changes to the existing process to leverage volumes and generate efficiencies.
• Ensuring strong review mechanism is in place for authorization of payments and SOD conflicts are watched for while releasing the payments to suppliers and employees. Authorizing payments and ensuring remittance advises to suppliers and quick response on escalations. • Ensuring SOX and other Audit compliances as per recommendations, identifying and placing additional SOX controls in areas with potential exposure, assisting management to provide timely and accurate information and thoroughly review data before submission for Audit and SOX compliance.
• Participating in Project and rollout calls and meetings and ensuring delivery of tasks related to projects in a timely and efficient mannerKey Metrics :-Executing all deliverables per agreed timeline and process metric targets are achieved.
• SOP and Process documents are updated as per timeliness.

Education and ExperienceGraduate or Post Graduate preferred. 5+ years of work-related experience in accounting having sound accounting knowledge
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Good knowledge of relevant Systems and applications used in accounting function like PeopleSoft. Conversant with MS Office, ERP exposure
Other SkillsCommunication – Possess good communication skills.
Flexibility – Flexible to work in multiple shifts
