Channel Management – Sales & Brand marketing
This new position will be responsible for championing growth of a leading Japanese luxury tableware. Working in collaboration with the team, your role is to maximize sales in the market by communicating regularly with distributors and dealers, while at the same time managing the brand image and value in the sales channel.
Duties of the job:
The Channel Management would be expected to:
Managing the day-to-day operations with the distributor/sales channels including tracking the sales, inventory, and brand management at the storefront.
Sales include not only retail but also B2B hotels & restaurants, corporate bulk sales, and planning and development of barter sales in special channels.
Lead the development of channel marketing strategies and tactics to improve revenue including creating and implementing new programs to promote the sales at a channel or across channels.
Identify new opportunities within potential channels for the products and services that encourage repeat purchases for existing customers and encourage new customers to purchase.
Developing relationships with key end customers at the retail channels to promote products and services.
Monitoring market trends and competitor product offerings. Report to management and take the lead in response actions. Supporting the internal team for ordering and receiving ordered processes between channels and manufacturing sides and on-time delivery of products.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related business field; MBA preferred.
3-5 years of experience with a B2B or B2C company in trade management, channel management, brand management, insights and sales.
Previous leadership of teams to achieve results.
Skilled in channel management, brand management and sales.
Strong teamwork skill with ability to work effectively and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Strong communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and influence others.
Demonstrated success working in a complex, matrix environment.
Ability to balance immediate and long-term priorities: Seeks to meet critical objectives. while considering the impact of those decisions and activities on the ability to achieve long-term goals
