Job Family Definition:
Responsible for driving marketing excellence and performance management efforts to provide operational processes, marketing policies, measurement, analytical model and actionable plan to maximize the return on marketing investment.
May also provide database analytics and operational expertise to drive fact-based strategic and tactical planning, manage and execute marketing programs. Typical responsibilities include managing the marketing investment envelope, identifying business requirements, developing business marketing processes, managing complex marketing programs and campaigns, establishing executive dashboards, scorecard, other measurement tools, and developing infrastructure (such as MRM, CRM, EDW and other data warehouse) as needed to drive close loop marketing. Also responsible for developing and delivering marketing training and professional development and execution to maximize overall marketing productivity and effectiveness.

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with the stakeholders to understand the business & reporting needs
Propose, design and develop creative dashboard solutions that provide required insight, improve/automate processes and add business value
Provide ROI analysis of all marketing campaigns and activities
Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause-effect or correlation relationships between marketing actions and financial outcomes to increase profitability
Build, test, and operationalize new datasets to keep up with the needs of the business as we continue to grow in scale and complexity
Evangelize data through educating non-technical users on how to self-serve, helping them understand what the data is and isn’t saying, and working with them to help them bring insights into action
Based on appropriate analysis of marketing information, provide value-added business performance analytics and optimization recommendations that enable continuous improvement across the Marketing organization to drive incremental demand generation or improve marketing productivity.
Research and evaluate opportunity to apply common methods and frameworks across analytic projects to allow for reuse of modeling and more efficient solutions to marketing needs.
Recommend go-to-market actions based on analytical findings to senior leaders.
Implement marketing process and tools such as MRM, CRM CKM to drive performance management/productivity.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelors degree in a STEM field with a strong background in math, operations research, business analytics, or statistics
3+ years of related work experience
Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to identify trends and influence business decisions
Advanced statistics background for analytical positions preferred (advanced degree with research and statistical focus background)
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of marketing principles, practices and tactics is a plus
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools, particularly Tableau/Domo/PowerBI
Must have strong data manipulation/wrangling and visualization skills
Experience working with marketing automation systems such as Eloqua and Marketo and customer relationship management system like Salesforce
Experience in web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or others is a plus
Proven experience in marketing analytics tools, such as A/B testing, statistical inference, and process control analysis (pre/post analysis)
Experience programming with Python / R
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups
Experience with predictive modeling, forecasting, and multivariate regression analysis is a plus
Ability to present executive summaries of practical insights and recommendations to executives and functional disciplines.
Self-motivated, independent, organized and proactive, highly responsive, flexible and adaptable when working across multiple teams
Excellent interpersonal and project management skills; ability to build and manage virtual teams.
Impact/Scope:
Initiate/drive/execute complex cross-functional and cross- region marketing plan, program and/or campaigns.
Lead cross-region data-driven analyses and actionable planning; typical within particular region/countries.
Manage large scale of cross- function/region marketing investment and programs.
Recommend marketing investment to strategic programs to optimize revenue and margin.
Lead development of predictive marketing mix model.
