Inviting role applications for Vice President – Capability Leader – Technology Services
The Technology Services business has initiated a journey of internal transformation as we have organized into Practices focusing on Cloud (Modernizing applications) and AI-led automation (Autonomous enterprise) to help accelerate growth across the overall Digital portfolio. The business operates in the entire spectrum of industries that Genpact operates in the above Practice areas. We see the technology business in Genpact today preparing for a massive surge and rapid growth if we can hire and retain the right talent necessary to deliver.
The technology talent market is very active and soon, if not already, will be supply constrained. All market trends point to the next 24 months making this a supply driven market. Aggressive hiring of technology professionals around the world, but especially in US and in India, are driving a widening gap in availability of skilled talent. With this context and to support the envisioned growth agenda:
The Talent Build Leader will take complete ownership for the Build strategy for the Technology Services team globally and act as the primary owner for the skilling agenda for this business
This will involve the direct supervision and management of core ‘L&D’ functions ranging from upskilling, cross-skilling and reskilling programs at scale within the Technology Services business that spans ~9000 employees and the strategy to hire and train freshers at scale in close partnership with the Resource Management, Recruitment, HR and Delivery teams
This role reports to the COO – Technology Services and Global HR Leader of Technology Services.
Responsibilities
Be a strategic partner working closely with the Business Leaders and their DRs to design and implement a talent build model that supports the asks of the growth strategy and operating model. Specifically:
Work in partnership with the Resource Management & Operating teams to understand the talent needs in the business on a rolling 18-24m basis
Partner with the Operations, Hiring & Finance teams to firm up Build programs as relevant for each channel-wise staffing strategy
Partner with the hiring and Operating teams to design and deliver on the build program for our Campus Hiring strategy
Partner with the Operating teams to run Genome-powered upskilling and cross-skilling programs on an ongoing basis
Lead a global team of L&D professionals who support program management, design and delivery teams spread across time zones. Actively develop and build the team to elevate the quality support we provide as L&D partners.

Growth and results focused leader with substantial leadership experience in managing the entire spectrum of learning and development in global technology/digital firms who is excited by the opportunity to rapidly grow a business in the next 2-3 years
Carries the intellectual agility and curiosity needed to bring incisive perspectives and innovative approaches to a discussion
Ability to influence peers and senior leaders across a wide spectrum; is viewed as a trusted advisor and commands stature as a deep domain expert & thought leader
Demonstrates learning agility and growth mindset
Proven abilities in operating with senior leaders, building strong internal networks and delivering high impact programs in complex-matrixed environments
Is decisive and comfortable taking risks when working with ambiguous/incomplete data
Can work effectively with globally dispersed and diverse teams
