Job Overview Maximize Accounts receivables turnover and cash flow to the business segment, along with minimizing bad debt exposure & enforce terms of sale compliance. Activities include timely communications directly with General Mills customers to ensure payment received within terms, monitoring payment trends & alert Local market and Region Credit Managers of changes in payment performance and working with internal partners (Sales and COS) to resolve payment issues or any internal issues.
The role also entails research and performing root cause analysis on customer behavior and payment delays. Holds accountability for the Service Delivery and find efficiencies through continuous process improvement. Create and maintain documentation on customer behaviors on the issues/solutions identified.
This role will include credit reporting like preparing customer reviews on a monthly & quarterly basis by following the guidelines set as per the frequency i.e., Weekly/Monthly/Yearly This role also includes coaching and mentoring the new team members. and Job Responsibilities 45% of Time
o Exercise excellent communication & interpersonal skills to ensure prompt payment of invoices, while still maintaining customer goodwill and cross-functional teamwork. o Access accounts receivable system (SAP) to retrieve customer invoice information & record customer response details on a timely basis for each customer interaction. o
Make sure all the Audit requirements are adhered as per the set process. o Prepare customer cursory reviews by collating information from various authorized resources and share with the manager as per the guidelines laid within specified timelines on a monthly & quarterly basis. o Prepare customer credit reviews and make sure all the data is collated as per the guidelines/SOPs and send to review with manager 45% of Time
General support to ACM & Sr. Credit Analysts: Wire & ACH / Unidentified overpayment & IC offsets as needed. Provide direction to Cash Application team for above.
o Utilize problem-solving & Analytical skills to investigate & timely resolve payment obstacles to ensure optimal Accounts Receivable condition & compliance with established credit terms. o Frequent Connects with Collectors to understand issues of aged customer invoices and keeping the impact minimum. o Utilize the current Reporting & Analytics dashboard to review the customer behavior and accordingly make decisions on the next steps for the customer and share the insights on the opportunities for improving the dashboard.
o Knowledge of different Reporting & data management tools like -Tableau, SQL Etc. to build upcoming dashboards to derive insightful information. 10% of time
