Overview of the Role:

• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately
• Preparing SOX related documents on regular basis and getting the same reviewed from function manager as well as SOX team.
• Responsible for validating system interfaces and troubleshooting general ledger issues.
• Prepare, reconcile and review payroll account balances including reconciliations in blackline.
• Preparing various accruals by receiving the input from various stakehoders and supporting evidence and preparing / posting workings / entries in the respective general ledger codes. Also provide for variances in the actual vs accrual post book close, if any
• Scrutinizing GLs on a regular basis
• Prepare month / quarter end flux analysis for payroll related accounts, co-ordination with close team, internal and external audit teams on payroll flux related requirements, explanations and queries
• Preparing documents / schedules internal and external audit requests relating to Payroll.
• Helping in the payroll related accounting aspects of the global monthly, quarterly and annual close process
• Preparing local books vs statutory books reconciliation and getting the same reviewed from function manager on regular basis
• Supporting function manager on various automation related projection with respect to payroll.

• Big 4 audit experience with Chartered Accountant qualifications (India) or equivalent – 2 to 4 years of relevant experience working in industry and familiarity with areas of equity, payroll processing, accounting, reconciliations and flux analysis.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize competing workloads
• Experience with ERP management preferred (NetSuite experience is an added advantage)
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT required
