Job Description
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed timely and accurately.
- Review regular payroll journal entries into the accounting system.
- Responsible for validating system interfaces and troubleshooting general ledger issues.
- Prepare, reconcile and review payroll account balances including reconciliations in blackline.
- Leading the accrual process by receiving the input from various stakehoders and supporting evidences and preparing / posting / reviewing the workings / entries in the respective general ledger codes. Also provide for variances in the actual vs accrual post book close, if any.
- Scrutinizing GLs on regular basis
- Prepare month / quarter end flux analysis for payroll related accounts, co-ordination with close team, internal and external audit teams on payroll flux related requirements, explanations and queries.
- Manage internal and external audit requests relating to Payroll.
- Contribute and participate in system related projects – Oracle HRMS, Global Payroll provider onboarding.
- Leading the payroll related accounting aspects of the global monthly, quarterly and annual close process.
- Manage and ensure that all equity transactions, including stock options, restricted stock units, and ESPP, are accurately processed and settled in timely manner
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Big 4 audit experience with Chartered Accountant qualifications (India)
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience working in industry and familiarity with areas of equity, payroll processing, accounting, reconciliations and flux analysis.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize competing workloads
- Experience with ERP management preferred
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PPT required
