About Team
US retirement team is responsible for Nondiscrimination testing of US Retirement plans (defined contribution plan- 401(k)/403(b) Plans. This is an annual activity of regulatory nature that is done for all US Retirement Plans so that the plan maintains a tax-favored status and both plan sponsor and participant get tax exemption on the contributions they make into plan. The US Retirement plans are subject to ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974) regulations and Internal Revenue Code (IRC) and are regulated by US regulatory bodies like Department of Labor (DOL) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
What you will be doing
The testing involves scrubbing of Census Data received from client/ pulled from Omni Recordkeeping system, validating the data, sending queries to the client for missing information, coding the plan specification in Compliance Testing software Relius Admin (RA), importing the Census data into RA, and eventually running the 410(b), ADP/ACP, Top-Heavy Test, 414(s) Test, 402(g), 415 limit Tests and reconciling testing reports with data files. Responsible primarily for preparation of Compliance Testing of 401(k) and 403(b) plans. Nondiscrimination Testing involves Census data scrubbing, data validation, running of 410(b), ADP, ACP, Top Heavy, 414(s) testing reports.
