Short Job Description
The ART Assistant Manager is responsible for managing overall North America (NA) accounting for the region which includes managing day to day operations, month end close accounting and reporting activities, driving improvements and standardization of process by working across regions and leading the team by providing necessary guidance, support and mentoring the same. This position is directly responsible for the financial integrity and reliability of this data in SAP and GCAP for NA region. The candidate will work in a team with similar ART accountants and shall interact with key contacts such as Business Controllers, Key finance users, Business analysts, Plant accountants, GL account reconcilers, Inventory team, Credit team, Systems team, Requisition to Pay (RTP) accountants and Sales to Cash (STC) accountants, Intercompany accountants & other support networks. This position will require an in-depth knowledge of the accounting concepts, internal controls, SAP modules, GCAP (preferably).
