Job Title- Client Perimeter Operations

Location- Bangalore

Corporate Title- Assistant Vice President

Our client perimeter team manages the operations of refreshing client perimeter data as well as the strategic plan to automate and make more efficient the updating and sharing of client perimeter data across teams and functions in the bank. You will be working alongside the client perimeter management team to perform operational processes and controls and to provide additional oversight to the Bangalore based team. The role also requires you to drive change projects to improve operational efficiencies, identify and remediate data issues and automate processes in line with client perimeter Target Operating Model. The client perimeter team supports teams and processes across the bank and senior stakeholder management is key to the success of this role.

Your key responsibilities

• Performing client perimeter operational processes and controls and where relevant providing oversight to junior team members in Bangalore
• Identifying improvements to process and controls and driving through change initiatives along with the wider Client Perimeter Ops management team (including documentation of requirements, testing and implementation
• Working with teams across the bank (including but not limited to Client Lifecycle Management, Operations Reference Data Services, Off boarding, Anti Financial Crime, Front office teams and Accountable Client Owners) to ensure that data is updated to accurately reflect the status of a file
• Handling escalations, conducting analysis, proposing solutions and managing stakeholder demands whilst retaining tight controls
• Preparing relevant Management Information to provide management and governance updates

Your skills and experience

• Knowledge of client data and processes is preferable
• Knowledge of Know Your Client process and associated data would be beneficial
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large data sets (strong excel skills is essential)
• Ability to prioritize workload and demands in a dynamic working environment
• Previous experience of managing individuals or a small team
• Previous experience of leading change initiatives within an operational environment
