Deloitte US Innovation – Analyst Finance and Operations support

Work you’ll do

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Invoicing and Journal entry management: Generate and submit invoices for cost sharing arrangements & tracking of processing statuses

• Prepare standard and ad-hoc MIS (Management Information System) reports for US Innovation leadership, firm finance, and other senior leaders

• Flexible to work on ad-hoc deliverables

• Assist budgeting and forecasting process for US Innovation team

• Perform periodic and ad hoc financial analysis and identify key business insights

• Report financial performance data and analysis and identify key business insights

• Execute project financial controls (establish budget, track budget, actuals vs forecast)

• Creating dashboards / visualizations for leadership reporting

• Work breakdown structure (WBS) management. This work will involve setting up, tracking and closure of WBS

• Coordinate other requests related to funds allocated (meetings / demo preparations)

• Create and maintain process documentation and presentations

• Manage distribution lists of the broader group and sub-groups within

• Develop and maintain mailboxes, team org charts and contact lists

• Support team with operations requests such as managing team and business level events

The team

The US Innovation group is unique in Deloitte. Its focus is to rapidly identify, shape, experiment and incubate new business opportunities that leverage leading edge technologies. We operate as a cross-between an applied R&D (emphasis on Development), venture capital investor and a start-up. Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis role, managing portfolios / cost centers, with strong basics of finance / accounting principles and capitalization concepts. Knowing basics of ERP systems / visualization tool is a plus

• Graduation Degree (Commerce preferred)

• Professional qualification:

o Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance / Commerce

Work Location: Mumbai

Work Timings: 11am to 8pm

• Good computing, analytical, data visualization, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in advanced excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Excellent written & oral communication skills

• Ability to create and deliver communication to senior leaders / summarize results and creating management reports

• Outstanding attention to details and adherence to deadlines

• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a team member

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Detailed oriented

• Self-motivated and strong team player. Highly developed personal and professional ethics

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

• Comfortable working in an agile environment, works well under pressure and highly responsive
