Job Purpose :

The role is responsible for preparing and issuing credit risk vetting report within allowed TAT to enable business and processing team to put up loan proposals for sanction. The role is additionally responsible for preparation of ECL templates on a quarterly basis and computation of components of ECL.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Completing Risk Vetting Reports within allowed TAT.

• Completing ECL computation within allowed TAT

Functional Responsibilities

• Thorough analysis of financial statements and credit process notes put up by the business team including new requests, change request and refinancing.
• Confirming the Internal Credit Risk Rating of borrower as per CRM policy of the bank
• Preparing risk vetting reports based on the credit process note and submit to the lead credit risk/ Head Credit Risk
• Highlighting risk elements in Proposals submitted for preliminary discussion (NBG)
• Contributing towards credit risk models fine tuning
• Keep up to date with the company’s lending protocols

• Computation of Expected Credit Loss on a quarterly basis.

Competencies required for role

• Two to five years of strong quantitative experience
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and general computer use
• Experience in SME credit processing in banks would be an added advantage
• Ability to effectively manage competing deadlines for projects in a high-pressure work environment, with varying degrees of supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data

• Impeccable understanding of financial statements, financial ratios
