The IT Business Intmd Implementation Analyst is a position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology Engineering team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration, and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business feature implementation for the clients. Fully knowledgeable of assigned product / functional area. Must have a thorough understanding of the entire servicing.
Demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysis and communicate effectively (verbal and written), to frame complex problems and deconstruct them into discrete analyses for team execution.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide input during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects
  • Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
  • Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and partner with multiple management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives
  • Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standards
  • Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions
  • Enhancements – Effectively drives project execution for projects and initiatives by quickly putting structure in place to manage work in a complex dynamic environment, while staying within the defined project scope and aligning resources to meet and overcome challenges to deliver expected results on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with partners and multiple Technology teams, in the planning and implementation of global technology projects
  • Design, develop and manage project plans to ensure projects are being documented appropriately and to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure the completion of the full end-to-end process methodology for each project with focus on process improvement, service delivery and ensuring appropriate service control mechanisms are in place. – Providing direction and taking responsibility while leading cross-functional teams through all phases of the project lifecycle including requirements definition, planning, development, launch and post launch.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key business partners and vendor contacts, business managers and Shared Service teams across Citi.
    Advise project sponsors and lead the decision making process by coordinating, analyzing and valuating relevant costs, benefits, resources, system requirements, etc.
  • Lead prioritization discussions, assisting the client, sponsors and team in understanding impacts of requests and changes to previously defined scope, including trade-offs and resource constraints.
    Define current state business processes, systems and organization structure for projects
  • Lead discussions and provide input to the future state product offering, business processes, systems and organization structure for all projects –
    Identifies and communicates risks and issues impacting business rules, functional requirements and specifications, and develop effective change management and communication plans as applicable
  • Proven ability to lead change in large organizations, by motivating and influencing others to adopt change and pursue excellence
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts, with a passion for coaching and guiding a team of associates.
  • Be able to demonstrate attributes that define Forward Compatibility, such as being: Adaptable, Bold, Curious, Collaborative and Determined

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience
  • Knowledge on Supply Chain Finance/Trade Finance is a must
  • SQL knowledge (read and write) is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis
  • Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Master’s degree preferred
